Late Summer Glory

Late Summer, originally uploaded by ParsecTraveller.

One of the many 'Grandpa Ott' morning glories this summer. They are actually experiencing a second bloom period, and the 'Heavenly Blue' vines are just getting started.

Does anyone else have some morning glories this year?

None for me. They are sure pretty though.

I do have morning glories in my garden! They are blue, purple and a rich pink. They greet me every morning, happily, when I go out to run my Border Collies! Such a treat. This photo of yours really captures their exquisite beauty! Look at that tiny leaf. Precious.

Do we have morning glories? Well, let me tell you they are like weeds in both of our plots. They reseeded everywhere and are now covering anything they can find to climb, but they sure are beautiful. We pull a lot, but always keep a few! Love them and your pictures are beautiful!
