New Garden 2006

Since the ground is super-saturated because of all the rain we've been having, I decided to heck with gardening in the ground. I planted all my seeds in my raised bed. The seeds I planted include the following:

-Maroon Morning Glories (Ipomoea)
-Pincushion Flower (Scabiosa)
-Four O'Clocks
-Popcorn
-Chinese Cabbage
-Love Lies Bleeding (Amaranthus)
-Looseleaf Lettuce
-Dill
-Plains Coreopsis
-Spaghetti Squash

I didn't just plant a few seeds from each packet. I planted each ENTIRE packet of seeds. Yes, I know my garden is going to be a failure, but I'm desperate.

Spring is Here, Finally!

After weeks of literally nonstop rain, spring has arrived in California! Although there have yet to be many warm days, the sun is coming out more and all the trees have their new leaves. I just hope that the temperature will go up, as it has been so cold here for so long!
