Well, it's December and the garden is still going.
Fog comes in regularly, and the temperatures don't usually go above 60, but the basil still has a few green leaves. The bell pepper plant looks like it did in summer, and I just harvested a large crop of 'Thai Hot Dragon' chile peppers. The morning glories are putting out 1 or 2 flowers a week, a little bit of a change from the 50 or so they put out every day during the summer.
The lettuce is growing quite well, as are the cool-weather herbs like parsley and chervil.
To the other gardeners out there: how are your gardens doing? Under the snow, or still creeping along?
OH NINA, WHERE ART THOU?

Sounds like your garden is doing well. Mine is pretty much sleeping, just garlic and onions growing in the vegetable garden, a few flower blooms here and there. Thanks for asking!
I'd love to have Northern California weather right now, maybe even Vancouver's weather.
I have nothing in the garden at the moment that is actually growing.
The only thing left is the Brussels Sprouts that I wrapped in row cover in hopes they will make it through the winter. As well as some frozen broccoli that has finally succumbed to the cold.
Hi Parsec, living in the same state as Tina, most things are nappying here as well. Garlic, onions, strawberries, arugula, beets and sugar snap peas are alive if not growing much. Any morning glories are welcome though, aren't they?

I wanted to stop by and visit your site. Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. My weather is very different. This morning it was 3 degrees F after a freezing rain that lasted all night. What a mess. Tomorrow lots of snow.
I used to live in Coos Bay which has weather similar to yours. I will always remember the wonderful roses I grew there.

I can't believe that you still have a garden in the middle of Dec. Mine, like roses and lilacs, is also asleep for the moment. We have had lots of snow, as I am sure you have seen in the pics that I posted! Got to love that snow...Hey, you have a very Merry Christmas, If I don't post you until then!
Okay, I need to comment again...Your pictures are absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While I was looking through your blog, my mouth just fell open and didn't go back shut until a couple of minute! All of that food is...WOW! Mouth dropping good! And ...I am speechless, I am adding you to my list of the blogs that I follow! YOU ARE AMAZING!
