Lemony

Lemony, originally uploaded by ParsecTraveller.

A tagetes lemmonii flower in the Desert Botanical Garden near Phoenix, Arizona.

What a great garden : diverse, colorful, and well-designed. When I was there, they had an exhibition of the glass artwork of Dale Chihuly. If you ever have a chance to see Chihuly's amazing work, make sure you don't pass it up - it's incredible.

Looks a lot like moonbean coreopsis. Bright and sunny for these dark dreary days!

The flower does look very much like a coreopsis.

I saw photo's of the Dale Chihuly exhibit in AZ on Kathy's blog, Skippy's Vegetable Garden. It looks amazing, I wish I was closure so I could check it out. I have seen a few Dale Chihuly pieces but nothing like what they have on display there.
