There's some bad news for California...
...no rain is forecast for the next 2-3 weeks. January is normally the wettest month of the year, and we've had hardly any rain. Drought seems imminent, unless February turns out to be one of the wettest months on record.

That is not good news. The weather has been rather strange lately, not sure if I would call it global warming though.
We have had loads of precipitation in the north east. Last winter we had record snow fall and last summer we had record rain. This winter I think we have had close to 3 feet of snow already so it looks like we are in for it again. Thankfully it melts in between snow storms for the most part.
