Anyone ever notice how some succulents just look like they're exploding from within? This little specimen was at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona.

I'm a big fan of succulents.
It's great when there is an imprint from the corresponding leaf left from before they unfurled. I have a blue agave that always does this although I don't think I have ever photographed it.
