Cool, clear water emits from the ground at this spring. The water comes out from under the rocks in the top right-hand portion of the photo.

Did you find this freshwater spring somewhere in Northern California? I live in the Walnut Creek/Concord area and cannot locate one anywhere. I would love your advice!

I found this spring in Las Trampas Regional Park. I later discovered that it was actually a creek that had gone underground upstream and resurfaced...but isn't that a spring? Anyways, it was a very nice surprise in our dry state.
